The following biblical beliefs are foundational to all preaching, teaching and instruction:
1. God’s Word The Bible is one book comprised of sixty-six books; it is the Word of God; it is the only God-breathed book, it was given without error, it has been providentially preserved, and it is the final authority for our faith and living. (Psalm 19:7-8, Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
2. Trinity God exists eternally as three persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 29:19, 1 Corinthians 12:4-6, 2 Corinthians 13:14, Hebrews 9:14)
3. God, the Father The heavenly Father, the first person of the triune Godhead, in His great love for the world, sent His beloved one and only unique divine Son into the world as the Savior of mankind to provide everlasting life and adoption into the forever family of the heavenly Father's care. (John 3:16, Romans 8:14, Ephesians 1:5, 1 John 4:14)
4. God, the Son Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God; was manifested in the flesh by virgin birth; was crucified as the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins; arose bodily from the grave; is preparing a place for us; will physically return for us. (Luke 1:35; John 1:1,14, John 14:1-6, Acts 1:9-11, 1 Corinthians 15:3-19, 1 Peter 2:24, 1 Peter 3:18)
5. God, the Holy Spirit The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, indwells, fills, gives spiritual gifts, produces virtuous fruit, teaches, guides, comforts and empowers for a godly life.
(John 16:7-14, Acts 5:3-4, Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:13, Ephesians 5:17-21)
6. Creation and Marriage God created the universe and humankind: (1) humankind was created in God’s image, with two genders, male and female with the procreation of human life in God’s image beginning at conception, and (2) marriage is an ordained union between a biological man and biological woman with the good gift of sex to be enjoyed only in this committed union. (Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-3; Genesis 2:18-25; Proverbs 5:15-21; 1 Corinthians 7:2-5;
1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Hebrews 13:4)
7. Satan He was a good angel created by God who chose to rebel against his Creator and persuaded a host of other angels to follow, called demons; he is the author of sin and cause of the fall of humanity; he is the father of lies; he is powerful, but not all-powerful; he is the open and declared enemy of God and man; and he shall be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire. (Job 1:6,7; Isaiah 14:12-17; Matthew 4:2-11; John 8:44; Revelation 20:10) man; and he shall be eternally punished in the Lake of Fire. (Job 1:6,7; Isaiah 14:12-17; Matthew 4:2-11; John 8:44; Revelation 20:10)
8. Salvation Every person is a sinner and separated from God until repenting of his sins and receiving God’s grace gift of eternal life by trusting in Jesus Christ alone as Savior and Lord, not earned by any good works. (Acts 4:12, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9, 1 Peter 1:18-21)
9. The Church The church is the living body of Christ; Jesus guarantees its growth and endurance; it is comprised of all believers in Jesus Christ since Pentecost; it is manifested through local assemblies...

11. Choice Within God’s ultimate sovereign choice, eternal life is offered to the world from a divine heart of love that desires all to respond to that love, wanting no one to perish and promising an eternal relationship to every sincere seeker.
